...is just a feeling. A signal from my mind and body that something is not going according to plan. It naturally comes with discomfort and even pain in my body and a good amount of uncontrollable desire to punch somebody in the face.

Feelings are bad advisors in general. Playing the game of life according to the rules of emotions is a form of gambling. You may win big or fail miserably. The more common scenario is failing, though.

That's why I'm not a big fan of the phrase "follow your heart". The minute you do, you technically resign from being the captain of your ship. You could just wave a hand and blame the new captain - your feelings.

Feelings are more like the signaling systems in a modern car. Their only job is to blink and beep, and it's up to you to decide whether these are important or not.
